Update Releases Wis JI-Criminal
The Wisconsin Court System publishes the Wisconsin Criminal Jury Instructions semiannually on this website. Each release lists the updated or new instruction by number and title, and current instructions are made immediately available for download. To help maintain print collections, instructions for pages removed and inserted, along with volume numbers, are listed as well. Join our email list for updates throughout the year on newly released instructions for your sets. Send an email to carol.hassler@wicourts.gov to get notifications.

From 1960 through 2020, updates to the Wisconsin Jury Instructions - Criminal were published annually by the University of Wisconsin Law School. The approval date for content published through 1976 is indicated by the date at the bottom of the page. For new and revised items since 1976, the first paragraph of the comment also indicates the month and year of Committee approval.
