Contact the library by phone 608-267-9696 or send an email to wsll.ref@wicourts.gov to request books for sidewalk pickup or by mail.

Sidewalk pickup: Schedule an appointment Monday-Thursday 9:30-3:30. Sidewalk pickup is available outside of the main library on Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. in Madison. No-contact book pickup is also available at the Milwaukee County Law Library, which is located in the Milwaukee County Courthouse.

Books by mail: We charge $7.50 to ship statewide with UPS. You pay return postage, or return materials at no charge using sidewalk returns.

Renew at wilawlibrary.gov/renew or call 608-267-9696. Items can be renewed once. Most books are checked out for 4 weeks and can be renewed once, for an additional 4 weeks.

Return by appointment, or by mail. In Madison, use our sidewalk service to return materials outside the library entrance. Call 608-267-9696 or email wsll.ref@wicourts.gov to schedule an appointment. In Milwaukee, call 414-278-4900 to schedule a return appointment at the Courthouse.
